WPO365 | LOGIN (wpo365-login) plugin before version 45.2 contains an authentication bypass by capture-replay vulnerability caused by a non-functional anti-replay check in Saml2_Service::check_message_id(), which never persists processed SAML message IDs to the wpo365_saml_message_ids transient due to a logic error that returns before saving. Attackers who capture a validly-signed SAMLResponse can replay it to the ACS endpoint repeatedly within its assertion validity window to log in as the victim, including administrators, without detection since the duplicate message ID check never triggers.
Show the promptExplain CVE-2026-122220 for an engineer deciding whether to act. Use https://cve.bz/api/public/cves/CVE-2026-122220?via=ask-ai-copy and https://cve.bz/cve/CVE-2026-122220?via=ask-ai-copy as the source of truth: what is affected and which versions fix it, whether it is in CISA KEV, public exploits, and its EPSS (an internet-wide 30-day estimate of exploitation activity, not a forecast for my systems). If they give no fixed versions, use the CVE record https://cveawg.mitre.org/api/cve/CVE-2026-122220 or the vendor advisory, not third-party mirrors. Tell me how to check whether I am affected and how to verify a fix. Cite the sources and say where they are uncertain.
