In Eclipse Mojarra versions 2.2.0 through 4.0.28, 4.1.0 through 4.1.19, and 5.0.0-M1 through 5.0.0-M11, when URL client window mode is enabled (`jakarta.faces.CLIENT_WINDOW_MODE=url`), the client window id from the `jfwid` or `jakarta.faces.ClientWindow` request parameter is appended to generated URLs without URL-encoding. `h:button` renders such a URL into a JavaScript string literal, which allows reflected cross-site scripting. With `com.sun.faces.enableCspNonce=true`, the injected script runs on page load inside the nonce script element, bypassing the Content Security Policy.

Show the promptExplain CVE-2026-120421 for an engineer deciding whether to act. Use https://cve.bz/api/public/cves/CVE-2026-120421?via=ask-ai-copy and https://cve.bz/cve/CVE-2026-120421?via=ask-ai-copy as the source of truth: what is affected and which versions fix it, whether it is in CISA KEV, public exploits, and its EPSS (an internet-wide 30-day estimate of exploitation activity, not a forecast for my systems). If they give no fixed versions, use the CVE record https://cveawg.mitre.org/api/cve/CVE-2026-120421 or the vendor advisory, not third-party mirrors. Tell me how to check whether I am affected and how to verify a fix. Cite the sources and say where they are uncertain.
