CVE-2026-120313

8.7 high

High (8.7).

Network-AI before 5.15.5 contains a path traversal vulnerability in InputSanitizer.sanitizePath() that allows attackers to escape the base directory using sibling-directory paths. Attackers can supply paths whose directory name shares a string prefix with the base, bypassing the unanchored startsWith check to read, list, or write files outside the sandbox.

Use https://cve.bz/api/public/cves/CVE-2026-120313?via=ask-ai-copy and https://cve.bz/cve/CVE-2026-120313?via=ask-ai-copy as the source of truth: what is affected and which versions fix it, whether it is in CISA KEV, public exploits, and its EPSS (an estimate of exploitation activity across the internet over the next 30 days, not a prediction for my systems). Tell me how to check whether I am affected and how to verify a fix. Cite the sources and say where they are uncertain.
