On this page
An issue was discovered in Django 6.1 before 6.1.3 and 6.0 before 6.0.10. The `django.contrib.admin.utils.display_for_field()` function did not obfuscate the password field of user models other than `AUTH_USER_MODEL`, or of an `AUTH_USER_MODEL` inheriting its password field from a concrete parent model through multi-table inheritance, which allows authenticated staff users with only the view permission on such a model to obtain full password hashes via the read-only change form. Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.1.x, 5.0.x, and 4.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected. Django would like to thank Aaron chen for reporting this issue.

Use https://cve.bz/api/public/cves/CVE-2026-113733?via=ask-ai-copy and https://cve.bz/cve/CVE-2026-113733?via=ask-ai-copy as the source of truth: what is affected and which versions fix it, whether it is in CISA KEV, public exploits, and its EPSS (an internet-wide 30-day estimate of exploitation activity, not a forecast for my systems). If they give no fixed versions, use the CVE record https://cveawg.mitre.org/api/cve/CVE-2026-113733 or the vendor advisory, not third-party mirrors. Tell me how to check whether I am affected and how to verify a fix. Cite the sources and say where they are uncertain.
