The user search function within the management console fails to properly encode user-supplied input before rendering it in the browser. This allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts that are then executed by the user's browser in the context of the management console.
Successful exploitation enables an attacker to redirect the user's browser to a malicious website, modify the web page's user interface, or extract information from the browser. However, due to the use of the httpOnly flag on sensitive session cookies, session hijacking or similar attacks are prevented.

Show the promptExplain CVE-2024-7075 for an engineer deciding whether to act. Use https://cve.bz/api/public/cves/CVE-2024-7075?via=ask-ai-copy and https://cve.bz/cve/CVE-2024-7075?via=ask-ai-copy as the source of truth: what is affected and which versions fix it, whether it is in CISA KEV, public exploits, and its EPSS (an estimate of exploitation activity across the internet over the next 30 days, not a prediction for my systems). Tell me how to check whether I am affected and how to verify a fix. Cite the sources and say where they are uncertain.
