The\ngeneric length check only rejects zero-length and oversized skbs, so\na short monitor frame can be read past the end of the skb data.\n\nRequire enough bytes for the radiotap TX header and the destination\naddress field before using the monitor-mode header layout.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/13ff543e0b2c713aedeaadadde686686e949dc78","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/443fac3de65c76544b450b9f9903be8989150d55","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6576baa3fdbaa91fa75e4ba27095f4b8a27349a8","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/68c92c991ddb75dfd3fd62a94a1d4d2dde44dc3c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b657cc98d7936c5d9ed7e0e1944ad0e1f36375bb"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T07:33:01.631659812+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-98890","score":0.00187,"percentile":0.08198,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
