This triggers\nthe WARN_ON() at nf_nat_setup_info() and if panic_on_warn isn't set,\nthen IPS_SRC_NAT_DONE is set without adding nat_bysource and conntrack\ncleanup tries to unlink an uninitialized hlist node.\n\nFix this by checking that NAT manipulation type is correct before\ncalling nf_nat_setup_info(). In addition, if the WARN_ON is hit, return\nNF_DROP instead of continuing with the processing to avoid similar\nsituations in the future.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/16d464013ec2267b00a83f4bfbb97b3ecc63bfa7","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/58108f05b0502448f6bb612ee2eccc63bd6449cb","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/752492947be3123ea6c689e2f93ae04ecd675d42","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ea777dc90ab37e64fa4b92f6fcf3b5edcef5e058","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f6143ae109df56d51d5536e813deb19eee7a6205"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-98793","score":0.00168,"percentile":0.05964,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
