Removing or expiring a proxy path\ntherefore returns a slot that was never charged.\n\nmesh_path_add() uses the same counter to enforce MESH_MAX_MPATHS, so once\nit falls below the number of installed paths the limit no longer holds.\n\nReserve the shared quota before allocating a proxy path and release it on\nevery unsuccessful addition. Mesh and proxy paths now share one\n1024-entry budget, so mpp_path_add() can return -ENOSPC at that limit.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3b75831ceee76d32bb8e7ddd241904f92f9b5407","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5a32409ed34a1868830899a5d2437f0b3bf3532c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a5f35d4b112af1415ff06bd501c8cc26cc08aa8b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c66ab4b94bb04c162485759196555e08c0965320","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/df072db65fdaa34ad15e1d66fc06a53e3e97f778"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-98705","score":0.002,"percentile":0.09715,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
