With panic_on_warn enabled, this lets a\nreceived frame panic the kernel.\n\nReject the channel definition before entering the VHT operation\nconversion. This preserves the existing CSA fallback while avoiding\nboth the warning and the uninitialized read.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1892e71aa2e5ee667d87c6e49e3661f5e290303b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/56e236759f0a8dc910c2ae7cd3c161f298ee5794","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/79b3ce0d881cd6e5d4d3496b19f5cc5e7089a56c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cf0ddacce173890407ed3fa50c8ea9b3c0cc0e16"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T23:00:53.604569364+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-98702","score":0.00168,"percentile":0.05984,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
