However,\nnot initializing all members may cause subtle issues, which are only\nexposed when CONFIG_INIT_STACK_ALL_PATTERN or CONFIG_INIT_STACK_NONE is\nenabled.\n\nadf4377_clk_register() fills in init.parent_data, and assumes that\ninit.parent_names is NULL. However, the latter is uninitialized, and\nthus may cause a crash.\n\nSimilarly, adf4377_clk_register() fills in only parent_data.fw_name,\nleaving other members of the clk_parent_data structure uninitialized.\n\nMake sure all members are fully initialized, to fix such bugs, and to\navoid future breakage when converting drivers to a different method for\nspecifying the parents.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6564f394a4a95fad534643a6ca0f1d36ff081799","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e787fd23d5063c61582c3c27522240b6e6703fde"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T23:00:53.604569364+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-98667","score":0.00155,"percentile":0.04645,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
