However, if ena_probe() fails\nafter ena_device_init() succeeds, the error path destroys the admin\nresources and eventually frees ena_dev without destroying the MMIO read\nrequest, leaving the coherent DMA buffer allocated.\n\nCall ena_com_mmio_reg_read_request_destroy() in the probe error path\nbefore releasing the remaining device resources.\n\nThis issue was found by manual code inspection.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/30ff01b4c7e419bb70f40f01dcd7f6af680808b3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/47785f9f638b064ce6e32e8e3b6f1ffd83849fc2","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7bd3e9a2d0c288e54f51df260d9433163f5fbc1e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9476b4468862927297c94c440863cd8ed1e7cc83","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a0f5fd7a285f44fa402242f26feddfe1d4a0fc6c"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-98486","score":0.002,"percentile":0.09765,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
