If a\ndescriptor slot was reused while it still held a stale true from\na previous SKB (possible when tx_spb_ring_full() underreported\nfullness), bcmasp_tx_reclaim() would see last == true mid-SKB and\ncall dev_consume_skb_any() prematurely, freeing the sk_buff while\nits remaining fragments were still in flight.\n\nUnconditionally clear txcb->last before the conditional set so every\ndescriptor slot starts from a known false state regardless of what a\nprior transmission left behind.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/17e6ad484dea5ddf1c4a3d6ec77a5929161234de","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/18e5e0ec0e9282c897e2aa81a3e43ccaee03b003","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1e213ba7cb3b9dd97ac2e0a1054e6d0d1d91f5bc","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/47a5cecca925ceb175d5adf712e667acf78f475f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9b26b54861ce05307d39a54ddedddf8747419614"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:56:02.509636177+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-98052","score":0.00129,"percentile":0.02484,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
