This buffer was not scrubbed and\nthus could lead to expose of unwanted data. Rework the code to\nexplicitly scrub the buffer at the end of the function to avoid\nexposure of maybe sensitive data.\n\nIn function __xts_2keys_prep_param() change the existing scrub to\nclean the whole param block instead of just the key field.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/19a218b46b2471d370c11fb52040f36ac8d05d23","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7d1456d54b3c784cc2917c219a528092cefe30cd","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d7159d2132e9aa51af7acb51c6742d9b30f987b3"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:56:02.509636177+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-97590","score":0.00198,"percentile":0.09449,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
