This leaves the remaining rxr->rx_tpa[] entries zeroed.\n\nbnxt_queue_mem_alloc() discards that return value, so the partially\ninitialized ring is installed by bnxt_queue_start().\n\nSince the agg_id is picked by the hardware and bnxt_alloc_agg_idx maps\nit to a SW index in rxr->rx_tpa[], it is possible that an uninitialized\nslot can be chosen which would hand a zero DMA address to the device.\n\nFix this by checking the return value of bnxt_alloc_one_tpa_info_data\nand unwinding, freeing the ring buffers.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/37e08dc821a57fe0592c917486b638caa888b46d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b814dfbfeb0a68c9a52073f2caa05a2d5247a329","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c8050386a2209b2a474c1eb4bd1574dc19129bfb","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d7db2e4953e4626339fd0075564a3e447650d37b"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:56:02.509636177+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-97571","score":0.00206,"percentile":0.10453,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
