{"cve":"CVE-2026-9689","nvd":{"published":"2026-05-27T12:17:15.513","modified":"2026-10-26T11:10:00.157","status":"Modified","description":"A flaw was found in Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. When a client application is configured to accept broad redirect Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs), a remote attacker can manipulate the authentication process by crafting a special web address. If a user clicks this link, the client application might incorrectly prioritize attacker-controlled information over legitimate data. This vulnerability, known as HTTP parameter pollution, could allow an attacker to bypass security measures or gain unauthorized access to resources.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":4.2},"cwes":["CWE-1288"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:50846","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:50847","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:50848","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:50849","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-9689"],"products":["redhat:build_of_keycloak"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T11:33:08.859761529+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-9689","score":0.00322,"percentile":0.24955,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-wcvj-vpvw-9rr5","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-wcvj-vpvw-9rr5","summary":"Keycloak Services has Improper Validation of Consistency within Input","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:47.971585457Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-services","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-services","ranges":[">=26.5.0 <=26.6.4"],"fixed":[]},{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-services","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-services","ranges":["<=26.4.7"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
