{"cve":"CVE-2026-93633","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-23T14:17:57.143","modified":"2026-10-23T16:44:17.950","status":"Undergoing Analysis","description":"A CSS sanitization vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an authenticated user with Briefcase access to publish a document that displays attacker-controlled content under the Zimbra origin. When processing a stylesheet containing non-ASCII characters, DefangFilter appends the final ASCII segment without sanitizing it. HTML stored as application/x-zimbra-doc can therefore retain CSS URL references that the normal sanitizer removes. An attacker can share a crafted document that loads external resources and displays a credential-collection form using Zimbra's own visual assets. Exploitation requires the victim to open the document in a browser that renders the content type inline; credential theft additionally requires form submission. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20 are affected.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Security_Advisories","https://www.rapid7.com/blog/post/ve-breaking-zimbra-identity-boundaries-part-1/"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:35.584907681+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-93633","score":0.00173,"percentile":0.06675,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
