However, master->this is freed in\ni3c_master_detach_free_devs() before the master device itself is\nreleased.\n\nAs a result, sysfs accesses can dereference a freed master->this\npointer, leading to a use-after-free.\n\nKeep master->this alive until i3c_masterdev_release(), which is called\nafter the master device and its sysfs state are being torn down. Do not\nfree master->this as part of the normal device detach path.\n\nOn the error path in i3c_master_set_info(), reset master->this and\nbus.cur_master to NULL before freeing the allocated device.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/027679d613ea73b8a00831369ec34eea804ce1bd","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/23a1c4288a60e253a05a882bd8928ed61beb4a48","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4f3145db05fede36b35f8249b8acde5bd5d54864","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/50034d8d0f797c3a7a599f750a7d3e792e80dea5","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/feb0ed76601f3c2f91f08688c5a7d8b9d382f720"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-93200","score":0.00157,"percentile":0.04788,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
