The latter then dereferences the freed list head\nafter reacquiring the mutex and can free it a second time.\n\nComplete the list and IDR updates, including freeing an empty list head,\nbefore dropping the mutex. Keep the blocking notifier outside the critical\nsection and retain only the detached request across the callback.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1c35915eaaa81a12340c838c5c2ccb02be2194c3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/21d35c5f46e99e9047bb9ded3ecb5ab440dd75b3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2c4097e6c4aed276c5e9ec2ab331ab397ea780bf","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2ff7713b7308cd6bea3328f7cd750b5eaab42af3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c3d4ef1c0ca6917aad6f1093b49f3932944a8c19"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:55:23.253742848+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-92506","score":0.002,"percentile":0.09714,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
