{"cve":"CVE-2026-9183","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-24T07:16:29.370","modified":"2026-06-29T20:17:41.310","status":"Deferred","description":"The 24liveblog - live blog tool plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Exposure of Sensitive Information in versions up to, and including, 2.2. This is due to the lb24_block_enqueue_scripts() function being hooked to enqueue_block_editor_assets and, for any non-administrator user, falling back to loading the administrator-configured site-wide 24liveblog integration secrets (lb24_token, lb24_refresh_token, lb24_uid, lb24_uname) from the options table via get_option() and emitting them through wp_localize_script() as the lb24BlockData JavaScript object. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to extract third-party 24liveblog account credentials (including the API token and refresh token) by simply opening the block editor and inspecting the page source.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-200"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/24liveblog/trunk/src/init.php#L139","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/24liveblog/trunk/src/init.php#L157","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/ceaccdb3-4d98-4463-9db9-a6f1712d6869?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:41:17.107060303+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-9183","score":0.00361,"percentile":0.29898,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
