{"cve":"CVE-2026-9083","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-25T17:17:03.027","modified":"2026-07-01T17:22:17.710","status":"Analyzed","description":"A flaw was found in Keycloak. A realm administrator with the \"manage-realm\" role can exploit this vulnerability by submitting an arbitrary filesystem path as a keystore parameter when creating a key provider component. This allows the administrator to probe arbitrary filesystem paths, determining which files exist and are readable by the Keycloak process. This information disclosure could be used to identify high-value targets for follow-on attacks.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":4.9},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:30049","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:30050","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:30083","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:30084","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-9083"],"products":["redhat:build_of_keycloak"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:41:17.107060303+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-9083","score":0.0078,"percentile":0.55945,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-9jrw-8xf7-xqhq","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-9jrw-8xf7-xqhq","summary":"Keycloak vulnerable to information disclosure through arbitrary filesystem path probing","modified":"2026-10-29T16:56:06.444192198Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-services","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-services","ranges":["<26.6.4"],"fixed":["26.6.4"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
