The\nerror path then frees the IRS data without clearing that published\nstate, leaving CPUs associated with freed memory.\n\nOn initialization failure and normal IRS teardown, clear the per-CPU\nIRS association by removing the stale pointer to irs_data. Also\ninvalidate the per-CPU IAFFID state for any CPUs that were tied to the\nIRS before it was freed.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0887d41abf76638942688cb0c0ff8087f52e2b33","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3dfc0ab5fefd052c6028c4632b1fad8bdaf7967e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/54937af6f4a0d44c2852a203d457902f3264c906"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:55:23.253742848+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-90121","score":0.00206,"percentile":0.10602,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
