{"cve":"CVE-2026-9009","nvd":{"published":"2026-05-28T06:16:28.873","modified":"2026-06-17T11:04:44.633","status":"Deferred","description":"The Crawlomatic Multipage Scraper Post Generator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.2 via the filter_content function. This is due to passing the attacker-supplied 'callback_raw' shortcode attribute directly into call_user_func() with no sanitization or allowlist validation, relying solely on an is_callable() check that permits dangerous PHP built-ins such as system, shell_exec, exec, passthru, and assert. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to execute code on the server. An identical sink exists for the 'callback' attribute, providing a second independent vector through the same shortcode.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-434"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/crawlomatic-multipage-scraper-post-generator/trunk/class.crawlomatic.shortcode.php#L273","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/7ff39b8f-ef87-4b1c-888e-00c9599c7b07?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-9009","score":0.00446,"percentile":0.38836,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
