The inbound\nsg_copy_to_buffer() only fills as many bytes as the user request payload\nprovides, and qla26xx_dport_diagnostics() zeroes only dd->buf. The\noptions and unused[] fields are therefore copied out uninitialized,\nleaking kernel heap contents to user space.\n\nAllocate with kzalloc_obj(), matching qla2x00_do_dport_diagnostics_v2().","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2ecc30066c2284d2ed11bbd576ec97156b384054","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5dfc77099c7d9fde9520a229794b0154d7ccccc1","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9fc03be982763a131913f84fe73b240ae45bca37","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a152edab3854f01dd2daf3eaf8f32cbabdb3834e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d6e2411516bb95e52cb74c9c56b60ad2548a2730"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-89859","score":0.00206,"percentile":0.10564,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
