Consequently, when the bus is empty, this field contains the\nmaximum number of devices supported by the controller (8 for the Renesas\nI3C controller).\n\nAdjust the condition that computes the newly discovered devices bitmask\nto prevent an out-of-bounds when the I3C bus is empty.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/50dec95c9d1f1f82819bc898ef2b60fa83fd4ccd","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/769f5a233efcf8587f70fb2244a202d88582c746"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:53:43.293028046+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-89728","score":0.00198,"percentile":0.09424,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
