Fix the problem by\nunconditionally marking the inode dirty and *then* call\nsync_inode_metadata().","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/356984d1a5c32e94810cbb6c8dc7d8ff2d4d919a","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5481766125041e71662f2e32ee0e91ad5f4d07f4","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5efb3350230fef831167740e69e6db2861101186","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b879565effd88fc119c2efea3f3868a9997ed9ba","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e54de654423bee98d1ba50379b09daf97c7854a6"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-89601","score":0.00601,"percentile":0.4845,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
