A concurrent ib_unregister_device walk can dispatch\nsvc_rdma_xprt_done() against the now-freed sc_cm_id.\n\nMove rpcrdma_rn_unregister() before rdma_destroy_id() so the\ntransport's notification entry is removed from the xarray before\nthe cm_id it references is destroyed.\n\nAlso guard the sc_cm_id dereference with a NULL check: the\nfollowing patches introduce paths that reach svc_rdma_free()\nwith sc_cm_id == NULL (listener create failure, ADDR_CHANGE\nreplacement failure).","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.1},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4488e912973773d64368828acf3b8e39d93650ae","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9f2f5d0999364c7070306cd422d8babc2621070d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cfca6eb3345ba4a23cf9a1153ad09bf19faabfc9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/fcd4a752ac840d39356f4d2a424d3aca4e39716b"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:53:43.293028046+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-89535","score":0.00537,"percentile":0.4497,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
