Each allocation failure under\nmemory pressure leaks one rdma_cm_id, and a remote peer driving\nconnection attempts can amplify this.\n\nReject the connection by returning a non-zero status from the\nCM event handler, which tells the CM core to destroy the\norphaned cm_id.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0944462247dcb7de7622cdaaadf5f05c52707dab","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1f6a14c142fee4778c32709d1d54595c2e2b7991","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3cf372cec7ab2cd8c6002bf775cc14d90ccb098b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5bf47bbea3c22c0af2293b6c393ab04d5420f7ab","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6e21754bbf75075f3fee1cebc79f3417364235ec"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-89531","score":0.00168,"percentile":0.0615,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
