When one\nsegment fills the page array exactly, the runtime guard in\nsvc_rdma_build_read_segment() is bypassed because len reaches zero.\nA subsequent segment then accesses the NULL sentinel slot at\nrq_pages[rq_maxpages], resulting in a NULL pointer dereference during\nDMA mapping.\n\nAccumulate pages across all Read segments and reject the message at\ndecode time when the total would overflow the page budget.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0ca487abb3bdf581851664b5db21f364caf57682","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1a3af2262cb384112ef38632de4690682be528b4","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/465f511f59a0fa7a80d5d1073c4b24f28ea38f58","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/beb4e9801f6362436102acc4cc5304b7324f9365","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e70fdb121171c3eb0ac34eb545721828cd737717"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-89528","score":0.0067,"percentile":0.51692,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
