This is due to the startSession() function accepting an empty jtlauth parameter as a valid credential, combined with insufficient file type validation in handleImagePush(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-434"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/woo-jtl-connector/tags/2.4.3/src/Controllers/ImageController.php#L632","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/woo-jtl-connector/tags/2.4.3/vendor/jtl/connector/src/Application/Application.php#L424","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/woo-jtl-connector/tags/2.4.3/vendor/jtl/connector/src/Application/Application.php#L885","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/woo-jtl-connector/tags/2.4.3/vendor/jtl/connector/src/Application/Application.php#L955","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/ed869c1e-ae54-4db2-8147-39050a034c5e?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:59:28.494260111+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-87855","score":0.0079,"percentile":0.5598,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
