In a multi-tenant application that sets the Ash tenant from request-controlled data (a subdomain, the Host, a path segment, or a header), a tenant containing a \" closes the quoted value and appends attacker-chosen auth-params, including a second resource_metadata URL pointing at an attacker-controlled authorization server that spec-following clients follow. Carriage returns and line feeds are rejected by Plug, so this is parameter injection within one header, not response splitting.\n\nThis issue affects ash_authentication_oauth2_server: from 0.1.3 before 0.3.1.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N","score":6.3},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-116"],"references":["https://cna.erlef.org/cves/CVE-2026-82756.html","https://github.com/ash-project/ash_authentication_oauth2_server/commit/09f97476715da031b136eaec7b2cda2363ad8149","https://github.com/ash-project/ash_authentication_oauth2_server/security/advisories/GHSA-2h3v-83jg-2qmm","https://osv.dev/vulnerability/EEF-CVE-2026-82756"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:52:03.409947763+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-82756","score":0.0068,"percentile":0.52397,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
