An authenticated rogue administrator with composer form editing rights can exploit this to include arbitrary readable files on the server. Combined with the file uploader's extension-only validation (which permits PHP code in files saved with image extensions like .png), this can result in authenticated remote code execution. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v.4.0 score of 9.4 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H   Thanks Yonatan Drori (Tenzai) for reporting.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H","score":9.4},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.2},"cwes":["CWE-23","CWE-98","CWE-434"],"references":["https://documentation.concretecms.org/9-x/developers/introduction/version-history/951-release-notes"],"products":["concretecms:concrete_cms"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-8134","score":0.00739,"percentile":0.54589,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
