The full\nallocation length is then copied to the wire by nvmet_copy_to_sgl(), so a\nremote initiator receives the bytes past the built message -- up to nearly\na page of uninitialized slab -- during the pre-authentication handshake.\n\nAllocate the buffer with kzalloc() so the unwritten tail is zeroed before\nit is sent; conforming responses are unaffected.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1d6837d98bf966a041af65de5f78de7409ff83bc","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2dcc9226203da7275a9c29d20007da278d73d5e9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3ddcfb013322aa37eaa7a0d344b73079c38dfa21","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/447b668faa14710f611e714031e3739ac3ec3a4f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8f6363c8d54dde95982f0ab45e77cf57ec0efd62"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:52:03.409947763+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-80791","score":0.00207,"percentile":0.10695,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
