But on further processing\nthe message is supposed to be 4 byte length adjusted. Thus up to 3\nbytes of uninitialized kernel memory are forwarded to further\nprocessing steps and may unwanted expose kernel memory to the crypto\ncard firmware.\n\nThis patch contains code to pad the gap between user space copied\nmessage and message buffer length sent down to further processing of\nthe CCA or EP11 message to zeros.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2db92a56b000173d332b6c30f38a5a4444e4355a","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/44e61f1834831f873af5a4fec5a5e432b929c6a2","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/eb363254472493e3458156fc11fd56dca92f4333"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-80543","score":0.00206,"percentile":0.10625,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
