Because this runs before any field-existence check, an unresolvable name mints a permanent atom rather than being rejected as unknown. Atoms are never garbage collected, so a request carrying many distinct names on a typed struct field grows the atom table until the VM aborts at its limit.\n\nThis issue affects ash_typescript: from 0.11.0 before 0.18.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.2},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-770"],"references":["https://cna.erlef.org/cves/CVE-2026-77856.html","https://github.com/ash-project/ash_typescript/commit/0ab5c83a7df28d51a6de1fb9b859a142b2b12919","https://github.com/ash-project/ash_typescript/security/advisories/GHSA-rj47-h936-4cxw","https://osv.dev/vulnerability/EEF-CVE-2026-77856","https://github.com/ash-project/ash_typescript/security/advisories/GHSA-rj47-h936-4cxw"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:50:50.842544443+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-77856","score":0.00547,"percentile":0.45845,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
