{"cve":"CVE-2026-77466","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-15T17:17:27.580","modified":"2026-10-15T21:08:49.703","status":"Deferred","description":"Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool. Prior to 7.7.0, Lychee hides the Omnipay Dummy test provider from the checkout options in production through OmnipayFactory::get_supported_providers(), but CreateSessionRequest validates only that the submitted provider is an OmnipayProviderType and does not enforce OmnipayProviderType::isAllowed(). A buyer, including a guest when webshop_allow_guest_checkout is enabled, can submit Dummy directly and complete the test gateway flow without a real payment. When webshop_auto_fulfill_enabled is enabled, OrderCompletedListener::fullfillOrder() can then release the purchasable item. The issue requires access to the Supporter or Pro webshop and an enabled purchasable item. Testing bypassed the closed-source license middleware, so whether the real license layer performs additional payment-provider validation remains unverified. The payment finalize status check itself is not the root cause. This issue is fixed in version 7.7.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.3},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-20","CWE-184"],"references":["https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/commit/8b73656f920c682862b9199acc87fbaf72ee5a90","https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/pull/4507","https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/releases/tag/v7.7.0","https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/security/advisories/GHSA-5wh2-hg7q-6hv3","https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/security/advisories/GHSA-5wh2-hg7q-6hv3"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T23:00:53.604569364+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-77466","score":0.00439,"percentile":0.37843,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
