{"cve":"CVE-2026-77352","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-31T22:17:20.607","modified":"2026-09-08T21:11:31.703","status":"Deferred","description":"Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. From version 2.0.0 to before version 5.0.0, any authenticated Wallos user (no admin rights required) can make the server open arbitrary outbound SMTP connections to internal/link-local addresses, by setting the SMTP host of their personal email notifications to an internal IP. The per-user notification settings endpoint (endpoints/notifications/saveemailnotifications.php) performs no SSRF validation, and the notification cron (endpoints/cronjobs/sendnotifications.php) feeds that user-controlled host straight into PHPMailer ($mail->Host = $email['smtpAddress']). When the user's subscription notification fires, the server connects to the chosen host:port. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/ellite/Wallos/commit/11eaf402e841a628c68a805694227ce66c45f6f3","https://github.com/ellite/Wallos/releases/tag/v5.0.0","https://github.com/ellite/Wallos/security/advisories/GHSA-c75x-9vj6-57qj"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:50:50.842544443+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-77352","score":0.00331,"percentile":0.26304,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
