As a result, a user with \"edit field collections\" but without edit/update access to the host entity (for example a node they cannot edit) could edit or delete field collection items attached to that entity, bypassing the intended entity/node access restrictions. The fix requires access to the parent entity in addition to the field collection permission.\n\n\n\nThis issue affects Field Collection for Drupal 7: version 7.x-1.0 up to and including 7.x-1.2.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":5.3},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-285"],"references":["https://d7es.tag1.com/security-advisories?field_project_target_id=96","https://www.herodevs.com/vulnerability-directory/cve-2026-77152"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-31T00:41:04.286584630+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
