In the affected code path the schema value is operator-controlled, but the unsafe pattern could allow SQL injection if a schema name were derived from tenant, request, or user input. Fixed in 0.9.0a2, which adds identifier quoting and validation. As a workaround, only configure schema names from trusted deployment configuration.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":7.5},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-89"],"references":["https://github.com/eidetic-labs/stigmem/security/advisories/GHSA-9pc9-4crj-mhpj","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/stigmem-postgres-sql-injection-via-schema-identifier"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:49:38.260478770+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-76240","score":0.00383,"percentile":0.32419,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-9pc9-4crj-mhpj","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-9pc9-4crj-mhpj","summary":"stigmem-node's Postgres schema identifier handling required defensive quoting","modified":"2026-08-20T04:04:12.485700057Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"stigmem-node","purl":"pkg:pypi/stigmem-node","ranges":["<0.9.0a2"],"fixed":["0.9.0a2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
