{"cve":"CVE-2026-75939","nvd":{"published":"2026-09-21T15:17:31.520","modified":"2026-10-15T20:17:14.247","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"A flaw was found in openshift/oc-mirror. The tool incorrectly verifies PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) release image signatures by checking for signature errors before the entire signed body is processed, leading to a bypass of the signature verification. A remote attacker, by intercepting or manipulating network traffic to the signature endpoint, could exploit this to craft a PGP message with a valid Red Hat release key ID but a forged signature. This enables the `oc-mirror` tool to accept and mirror a malicious release payload into a disconnected registry, potentially compromising the integrity of software deployments.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":7.4},"cwes":["CWE-347"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:79039","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-75939","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2517976"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:55:23.253742848+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-75939","score":0.00377,"percentile":0.31453,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
