{"cve":"CVE-2026-75907","nvd":{"published":"2026-09-24T16:17:10.387","modified":"2026-09-28T16:31:16.073","status":"Deferred","description":"The door access control on a Norwegian Cruise Line asset grants entry based only on the credential's static 7-byte UID stored on an NTAG212 NFC chip. A UID is a manufacturer serial number sent in the clear on every read and is not intended to be secret or to authenticate the holder. Validating on the UID of the NTAG212 NFC chip alone is identification, not authentication, and the credential has no challenge-response capability that would resist copying.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-287","CWE-294","CWE-613"],"references":["https://kb.cert.org/vuls/id/676317","https://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/676317"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:56:02.509636177+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-75907","score":0.00459,"percentile":0.39777,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
