{"cve":"CVE-2026-75835","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-18T12:19:33.647","modified":"2026-10-22T22:10:00.250","status":"Deferred","description":"Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.14 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in userPassesAuthorize() (AbstractApiController.php). The function fails to consult the calling request's API key scopes, relying instead on the account's raw super-admin flag and ACL grants. As a result, an authenticated attacker holding a scoped API key minted on a privileged account can bypass their declared scope restrictions to access authorize-gated UI metadata and item definitions (sidebar/menubar/widget items and users-list columns/row-actions/filter-tabs) that their key scope should deny, resulting in information disclosure.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":9.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://github.com/getgrav/grav/security/advisories/GHSA-p57v-xhv3-mf2w","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/grav-api-plugin-before-missing-authorization","https://github.com/getgrav/grav/security/advisories/GHSA-p57v-xhv3-mf2w"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-23T16:39:26.291718493+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-75835","score":0.00308,"percentile":0.2338,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
