A low-privilege user, with knowledge of user credentials and client ID, can bypass a security control intended to disable the implicit flow in OpenID Connect (OIDC) clients. By manipulating client data during a session restart, an attacker can obtain an access token that should not be available. This vulnerability can also lead to the exposure of these access tokens in server logs, proxy logs, and HTTP Referrer headers, resulting in sensitive information disclosure.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:N","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-472"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:19596","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:19597","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-7571","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2464263"],"products":["redhat:build_of_keycloak"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T13:39:24.642594360+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-7571","score":0.00415,"percentile":0.35472,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-hq3p-w4xv-x7vp","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-hq3p-w4xv-x7vp","summary":"Keycloak: Access token disclosure and implicit flow bypass via forged client data","modified":"2026-08-26T01:11:23.528997189Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-services","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-services","ranges":["<26.6.2"],"fixed":["26.6.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
