The refresh grant re-derives a new token from the stored granted_scopes, which holds that expanded form, so every refresh reproduces the organization scope without revisiting membership. Because both CDN edges authorize repository access from the token claim without querying the database, an account removed from an organization retains read access for as long as it keeps refreshing, bounded by the 30 day refresh token lifetime rather than the 30 minute access token lifetime.\n\nThis issue affects hex.pm: from 2025-10-10 before 2026-08-24.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:N/SA:N","score":2.3},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-613"],"references":["https://cna.erlef.org/cves/CVE-2026-75554.html","https://github.com/hexpm/hexpm/commit/50cffd206490c49c92d7b63c8505949682abedb0","https://github.com/hexpm/hexpm/security/advisories/GHSA-24ww-j3f4-p49c","https://osv.dev/vulnerability/EEF-CVE-2026-75554","https://github.com/hexpm/hexpm/security/advisories/GHSA-24ww-j3f4-p49c"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:50:17.453294893+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-75554","score":0.00427,"percentile":0.36713,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
