Some places read the\nIP ihl field multiple times which can cause out-of-bounds\naccess. One such place is ip_vs_nat_icmp where we\ncan write after the validated area.\n\nFix it by providing ciph argument just like it is done for\nIPv6 and use ciph->len as offset to the embedded transport\nheader.\n\nModify some IPv4 header checks by reading the ihl field\nonly once.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/243d0187ec4c3837b9b0004f18d1068e46115760","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3b8f79af0e98f27b932b0b416e9c52b692d31ff9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3c779b258c9c3c3567af68d4f45c2f751f35bd0e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/646922a0379496154e8c8faca4f8e2fd9100cacc","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a69a4b3fff5814d079beff9a1e9d369994b2ed47"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:49:38.260478770+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-74724","score":0.00123,"percentile":0.02044,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
