{"cve":"CVE-2026-7456","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-05T14:17:14.960","modified":"2026-08-12T21:00:37.147","status":"Deferred","description":"The Udimi Tools plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the `ajax_disconnect()` function in all versions up to, and including, 3.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete the plugin's six configuration options — including the API key, connected Udimi user email, and tracking-script payload — effectively disconnecting the site from the configured Udimi account. The companion `ajax_connect()` handler is missing the same checks, allowing the same low-privilege attackers to overwrite those options with an attacker-supplied API key.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/udimi-optin/tags/3.2/class.php#L47","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/udimi-optin/tags/3.2/class.php#L82","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/udimi-optin/tags/3.2/udimi-optin.php#L22","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/udimi-optin/tags/3.2/udimi-optin.php#L23","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/udimi-optin/trunk/class.php#L82"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:47:10.050265369+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-7456","score":0.0044,"percentile":0.3822,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
