The sysfs path then copies from that pointer.\nA concurrent pp_table write can replace and free the allocation during the\ncopy, causing a use-after-free.\n\nChange the DPM interface to copy into caller-provided storage while the mutex\nis held. Keep the size-only query for attribute discovery without exposing\nthe driver-owned pointer.\n\n(cherry picked from commit f6eed7acfd30099ef7baeb6ba45bb59daad80631)","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3fbb3ac75000e3187f500a91a4099b24206866a1","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/81b5af1fb0f14cace6c3b3130a05e5602a597820","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8c685df5c3b261c42505110965b42f9a754eb9b7","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9efc767335234cf7a892e46d45cd453b711421e7","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b628f2c6feb3a115ea72d3120a2bd94afc5163df"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:49:10.689564601+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-74450","score":0.00126,"percentile":0.02243,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
