The relocation process is waiting on a space\nreservation ticket that can never be fulfilled, because the relocation\nitself is the operation responsible for freeing up that space.\n\nFix this by introducing a new flush state,\nBTRFS_RESERVE_FLUSH_ZONED_RELOCATION, specifically for data chunk\nallocation during zoned relocation. Like\nBTRFS_RESERVE_FLUSH_FREE_SPACE_INODE, this state uses\npriority_reclaim_data_space() instead of the normal flushing path, which\navoids re-entering the relocation code and breaking the deadlock cycle.\n\nIn btrfs_alloc_data_chunk_ondemand(), select this new flush state when the\ninode belongs to a data relocation root on a zoned filesystem.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/814c3b4ea357297c507158bceb07bcdc5fbe9808","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f84dbbaa988e1344634a20ddf6c7d51a99f12477"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:48:17.459049833+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-74319","score":0.00198,"percentile":0.09555,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
