The stid remains in the IDR and on the\nper-client list until the client is destroyed.\n\nRemove the layout stid from the per-client list and call\nnfs4_put_stid() to drop the creation reference. When the\nrefcount reaches zero, nfsd4_free_layout_stateid() handles the\nremaining cleanup: cancelling the fence worker, removing from\nthe per-file list, and freeing the slab object.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7ed62f7040ee182cf7dea5798f9e114235b31dae","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8024028ef91616cf91cc669f2446a0406bc0ba19","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/86b9898920a6d02b4149f4fef9efd77b8aa3b9ca","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/da6f86ff4f2dd490bea52419a49e19680efd5847"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:48:17.459049833+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-74316","score":0.0063,"percentile":0.49876,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
