{"cve":"CVE-2026-73481","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-13T19:17:34.267","modified":"2026-09-24T20:06:30.133","status":"Deferred","description":"phpList before 3.7.0-RC5 fail to enforce CSRF token validation on the bounce rule deletion endpoint (bouncerules.php / bouncerule.php). The deletion is performed via a GET request (?page=bouncerules&del=N), and the central CSRF check (verifyCsrfGetToken) is invoked with enforce=false, so it only validates the token when a 'tk' parameter is present. A remote attacker can trick an authenticated administrator into loading a crafted URL (e.g., embedded in an image tag) to delete arbitrary bounce rules from the phplist_bounceregex table without a valid CSRF token.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:P/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":5.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://github.com/phpList/phplist3/commit/5159c3ed33a5674a8169472b50d146d97f630746","https://github.com/phpList/phplist3/issues/1116","https://github.com/phpList/phplist3/pull/1121","https://github.com/phpList/phplist3/releases/tag/v3.7.0-RC5","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/phplist-rc5-cross-site-request-forgery-via-bounce-rules"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:48:17.459049833+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-73481","score":0.00222,"percentile":0.12802,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
