{"cve":"CVE-2026-72784","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-11T13:19:09.077","modified":"2026-10-24T15:10:00.190","status":"Deferred","description":"Craft CMS versions >= 5.0.0-RC1 before 5.10.6 and >= 4.0.0-RC1 before 4.18.2 contain a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the GraphQL save<Volume>Asset mutation, which fetches an attacker-supplied URL server-side. The anti-SSRF validation is incomplete: validateIp() does not cover CGNAT (100.64.0.0/10) or NAT64 (64:ff9b::/96) ranges, and the only IP check runs after the request has already been issued. An attacker holding a GraphQL token scoped only to asset-creation permissions can disclose internal HTTP content from CGNAT/NAT64 targets, force outbound GET requests to internal hosts (including RFC1918, loopback, and metadata endpoints), and enumerate internal services.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:L","score":6.9},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/craftcms/cms/security/advisories/GHSA-2mx8-9ww7-p27x","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/craft-cms-rc1-before-ssrf-via-graphql-asset-mutation"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:34.184483516+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-72784","score":0.00242,"percentile":0.15162,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
